Financial support for CIRI original shareholders and lineal descendants pursuing associate, bachelor, master, or doctoral degrees at accredited institutions.
Program Overview
The Higher Education Scholarship is TCF's flagship program supporting CIRI original shareholders and direct lineal descendants pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at accredited institutions.
Funding covers tuition, student registration fees, course-required books and supplies, on-campus housing and meal plans, and up to $500 per term for personal expenses if other costs are covered.
TCF accepts scholarship applications exclusively through our online portal. To gain access, you first establish eligibility. Once approved, you receive an email with your access code. Complete applications are processed in the order received during the published application windows.

How to Apply
Establish Eligibility
Submit your CIRI shareholder or descendant verification to TCF. Once approved, you receive your portal access code.
Gather Documentation
Collect your official transcripts, course schedule, and financial aid breakdown. If schedules or transcripts are delayed by your school, upload the Class Schedule and Transcript Attestation Form.
Complete Online Application
Log in to the TCF portal during the active window (October 1 – December 31 for Spring terms; April 1 – June 30 for Fall/Academic year terms).
Submit Before Deadline
Submit your complete application before the window closes. TCF processes applications in the order received: apply early, get awarded early.
Notification & Acceptance
If awarded, you will receive an email with instructions to log in and formally accept your award. Funds are disbursed directly to your school.
